Season Faceoff Statistics After the DecaSession

Eight weeks after BUSH switched to faceoffs after every goal, we've now played eighteen sessions with the new rule. Even the two DecaSession sessions last weekend with VRH players employed the rule. Two months in, here's the shakedown on faceoffs:

(wins, losses, percentage; minimum 35 faceoffs)

Terryn Stenseth 56-33 (62.92%)

Graeme Orr 22-13 (62.58%)

Kyle Grenier 181-124 (59.34%)

K.J. O'Connor 39-29 (57.35%)

Justin Gordon 89-80 (52.66%)

Nathan Robson 27-26 (50.94%)

Noel Ballard 40-41 (49.38%)

Lee Orr 102-120 (46.67%)

Seamus O'Connor 63-81 (43.75%)

Troy Waldron 19-29 (39.58%)

Mitch Zorn 5-31 (13.89%)

Terryn Stenseth just edges out Graeme Orr for top spot and are the only two full-time faceoff artists in the sixties. Kyle Grenier, who has by far taken the most faceoffs in the league, is close behind. Kyle Grenier, Lee Orr, Justin Gordon and Seamus O'Connor are taking the bulk of faceoffs. Seamus and Troy have improved slightly over the past four weeks but only marginally. As Mitch Zorn took most of his faceoffs against Terryn, his faceoff percentage has been affected disproportionately.

(wins, losses, percentage; fewer than 35 faceoffs)

Jordan Downey 2-0 (100.00%)

Colby Olsen 2-1 (66.67%)

Andy Kieran 16-11 (59.26%)

Rob Hajdu 5-4 (55.56%)

Sam Lam 16-13 (55.17%)

Stefan Klopp 15-14 (51.72%)

Tony Hajdu 2-2 (50.00%)

Stevie Fergusson 5-6 (45.46%)

Shem Hanna 13-18 (41.94%)

Mitchell Detta 13-19 (40.63%)

Oliver Koth-Kappus 2-3 (40.00%)

Andrew Watson 6-10 (37.50%)

Tony Sivilay 7-14 (33.33%)

Nick Sundstrom 3-6 (33.33%)

Joe Leonard 7-15 (31.82%)

Lorne Bilinski 4-9 (30.77%)

Joern Hornhardt 3-8 (27.27%)

Tyson Klein 1-3 (25.00%)

Andrew Likness 1-3 (25.00%)

Jesse Gimbel 0-1 (0.00%)

Bernie Koth-Kappus 0-1 (0.00%)

Anthony Watson 0-2 (0.00%)

A large bulk of the non-qualifiers are DecaSession players. Andy Kieran, Rob Hajdu, Sam Lam and Stefan Klopp stand out positively; Tony Sivilay, Joe Leonard, Lorne Bilinski and Joern Hornhardt negatively.

There were probably more hits that blocked shots!

Where are the blocked shot stats? Can't believe you didn't track them at the DecaSession.
